Lizzy Tan is a dance artist, movement director and critic based in London.

Her creative practice centres on the philosophy of image and representations of the femme performing body. Lizzy's dance projects incorporate dance, installation and livestream, including working with ‘found material’ online and in personal archives. Her solo and collaborative works have been performed in the US, UK and Europe at The Place's Resolution Festival, Assembly Festival at the Edinburgh Fringe, London's VAULT Festival, Camden People's Theatre's 'Calm Down, Dear' Festival, SUB TEI Berlin, Altes Finanzamt, Cohen New Works Festival and Dance Source Houston's 'Mind the Gap.' 

As a performer, Lizzy has danced works by Ania Catherine and Judith Sanchez Ruiz, Charles O. Anderson, EG Gionfriddo, Courtney Mazeika, Gregory Dolbashian, Andrea Beckham, Yacov Sharir, Ananya Chatterjea, Dr. Lorenzo 'Rennie' Harris, Kira Blazek and Oluwaseun Olayiwola. 

Lizzy received her BFA in Dance and BA in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin. She holds an MSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She writes dance and theatre criticism for Everything Theatre, Dance Art Journal, Croydonwrites and London Theatre Review.
